Article: Don Corleone Visits HolyWeaves

Don Corleone Visits HolyWeaves

After spending a good half hour on video call with his wife trying to finalise a saree, Don Corleone finally sighed and admitted,

It’s easier brokering peace between the Five Families than picking the right saree for the women in this family. Michael, what should we do?

Before Michael could answer, our saree expert, Anand, leaned in and said something softly in Hindi.

The Don turned to Michael.
What’s he saying?

Michael, who’d been laying low in India for a while, understood just enough Hindi now to reply:
He says… he’ll show you a saree you can’t refuse.

Turns out, he cud'n.

The moment Anand showed the Black Kadhuan, the Don nodded. Deal closed.

He picked the saree for Michael’s mother.
Then one each for Connie and Kay — diplomacy, domestic and otherwise.

While the staff was packing, the Don noticed another shelf. He walked over.

Men's Pocket Squares. Ascot Ties. Silk-Wool Shawls.

He turned back, amused.
Anand, my friend. What have I ever done to make you treat me so respectfully, and still not show me these beautiful pieces?

A pocket square for Tom.
An Ascot Tie for Barzini — olive branch.
A Shawl for the Don from Chicago.

All the men’s items, chosen in seconds.

As he rose to leave, the Don placed both hands on Anand’s shoulders, smiled, and said he’d bring Cannoli next time — for everyone at HolyWeaves.
