Prayag-HolyWeaves

Prayag

Prayag (प्रयाग), also referred to as Sangam, is a Sanskrit word meaning confluence. The Prayag collection showcases products that feature a pairing of warp and weft of different colors creating a beautiful iridescent color effect where the fabric color looks different when viewed from different angles.

Commonly referred to as shot color, this technique is a bastion of handloom silk weaving.
