A bold nocturne in silk and light, this fabric brings together the intrigue of a dusky forest and the sheen of nightfall. Handwoven in Banaras, it features a highly original bat-inspired pattern—almost like winged silhouettes—rendered in deep black over a shimmering coffee-brown tissue base. The Katan silk lends it structure while the metallic quality gives it a contemporary edge.

Perfect for men's jackets, asymmetrical kurtas, or panelled bandhgalas with a moody, eveningwear vibe. Women can use it to create sculptural tops, co-ord sets, or flowing gowns with drama. Internationally, it fits right into gala-ready tuxedo capes, statement wraps, or runway cocktail dresses.

  • Color: Metallic Black and Coffee Brown

  • Design: Nocturnal Bat-Inspired Pattern

  • Weave: Handwoven Brocade

  • Composition: Katan Silk and Zari
