A field of quiet symmetry in rainbow-hued resham spreads across a rich mahogany satin base. At first, it may appear abstract—ornamental, even decorative. But linger. Look again. The pattern gently resolves into the seated figure of the Buddha, repeated seamlessly across the surface. Two woven dots—one at the forehead, one at the chest—mark the twin anchors of wisdom and compassion. And like the teachings themselves, the motif reveals its meaning only if you seek.

Woven in pure Katan silk using the Tanchoi technique, this fabric is more than textile—it is a reflection. Meant for garments that invite stillness and intention: a robe with a story, a statement jacket for someone who prefers silence over spectacle, or a draped ensemble that travels between gallery, temple, and stage. It’s Banaras at its most contemplative—a weave that doesn’t preach, but invites discovery.
