This ivory-white Banarasi cutwork brocade carries a contemporary geometric layout, woven with both silver zari and resham. The dialogue between metallic shimmer and subtle threadwork lends the fabric depth, while the cutwork technique introduces openness that makes the surface lighter and more refined.

Made in cotton-silk, with organza silk warp and cotton weft, the fabric drapes gracefully while retaining structure. Its modern character works beautifully for kurtas, tunics, and lehengas, while also lending itself to global silhouettes like jackets, dresses, or formal tops. Because of the openness and zari cutwork, a lining is often preferred for comfort and finish, though it may also be styled without one to highlight the sheer effect.
