A stunning handloom banarasi with classic kadhuan brocade butas in gold and silver metallic zari. Besides the motifs, zari is also used in the primary weft, giving the fabric an extremely exclusive dress look.
The black borders are woven using kadiyal technique for a stark contrast with the red body.
We strongly recommend the masterpiece for both bridal and party wear.

The Weave: The saree features the Kadhuan Brocade weaving technique, considered to be the epitome of handloom brocade weaving, to create the motifs. Each buta is woven individually with a hand shuttle, diligently, one line at a time by a master weaver. Weaving time for each saree is usually in excess of 200 man hours, often significantly longer.

The Measurements: The saree measures approximately 5.4 meters (220 inches) in length, 1.10 meters (44 inches) in width and 770 g in weight.

The Blouse: The saree comes with an unstitched blouse piece measuring 70-90 cms. Please refer to the last product image for a snapshot of the blouse piece.
